In this beginning developers camp, Ninjas will learn the basics of web development and have the opportunity to build their very own websites and fan pages; through their projects, they'll gain a foundational understanding of HTML and CSS—two pivotal languages of the web.

Camp Blessing makes an iconic experience–summer camp–available to campers whose challenges prevent their participation elsewhere. We are a residential Christian summer camp offering love, acceptance and fun to children and adults with special needs. Beginning May 27 - July 17, 2025, Bishop Arts Theatre Center will offer an eight-week, exploratory program designed for youth ages 6 - 12. Students enrolled in our program are engaged in theatre, dance, visual arts, music, and life skill workshops led by master teaching artists. Young people who participate and attend these workshops have an opportunity to use artistic expression as a means to unlock the mysteries of various cultures, enlarge their view of the world, and build lasting communities.Our work aims to combat summer learning loss, and close the achievement gap between marginalized communities. With the decline in math and reading scores due to disruptions from the pandemic, our goal is to implement art in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), thereby creating STEAM opportunities for our campers.All programming will be focused on improving socialization skills and academics. STEAM education is vital in teaching youth how to integrate analytical thinking and creative thinking in learning. In addition to STEAM programming, all curricula include Social Emotional Learning (SEL) activities. SEL provides learning experiences that enable students to acquire skills in self-management, conflict resolution, perseverance, empathy, and teamwork. Alcuin Summer programs will be held from June 2 - July 11 and are open to all students from ages 3-13 from inside and outside the Alcuin community. The program offers an exciting variety of weekly camps led by both Alcuin Faculty and the best educational vendors in the Metroplex. Get ready for blast off! Learn about astronauts and their journeys into space exploration, the universe, and the stars above. In this camp, campers will learn about telescopes, star charts, astronomy, light, energy waves, and stars. Campers will get to visit the UTA Planetarium!

Based on our popular Nature Explorers preschool program, each day, campers will meet one of the Heard’s live animal ambassadors and take a nature hike to explore different habitats from wetlands and forests to prairie and ponds. We will also explore museum exhibits, participate in hands-on science activities, sing songs, listen to stories, and play nature theme-games! A simple snack (such as animal crackers, goldfish, or pretzels with water) will be served.
