The Festival at the Switchyard honors the critical role the railroad played in putting Carrollton on the map and the continuing importance of rail in Carrollton's present and future. The event is held on the streets of Downtown Carrollton, situated off IH-35E at Belt Line Road, just steps away from the DART Green Line Downtown Carrollton station. With FREE admission, FREE parking, FREE rides, FREE games, and FREE concerts, the Festival at the Switchyard is a family favorite.

Turtle Creek Arts Festival

Turtle Creek Arts Festival returns to Reverchon Park, a 43-acre community park. Each year it will host a Spring festival (in April) and a fine arts event in the fall (October). Winding its way through the heart of Dallas, Turtle Creek is charming with its serene shores, manicured parks, walking paths and, neighborhood events. Situated in the heart of Dallas, Turtle Creek borders the Downtown arts district as well as Highland Park, and the Oaklawn/ Cedar Springs neighborhoods.
