Summer Classes at the Nature Center provide students with an exciting hands-on, experiential opportunity to explore our natural world. Weekly Summer Camps are available throughout June and July, offering a 9am–12pm schedule for children ages 3–4 years old, and a 9am–3pm schedule for 1st–8th graders.

Creator Camp’s summer programs for ages 5–7 are all about playful creativity and exploration! These shorter, fun-focused sessions let young makers dive into age-appropriate activities like Storybook World Creators and Superhero Movie Makers, where campers imagine and build their own characters, stories, and mini-films. Something special happens when you’re able to form a relationship and level of comfort with a horse. At our horseback riding camps, we see children get out of their comfort zones and while they are learning about horses and how to ride, they are learning something about themselves too. They learn to conquer their fears, they learn how practice, persistence, and determination can achieve goals. They discover not only that they are comfortable on horseback, but they are becoming accomplished equestrians with skills of how to control and direct the movement of the horse.
