Originally established as the Plano Chamber Orchestra in 1983, the Plano Symphony Orchestra is a non-profit professional performing group supported by our many donors and the city of Plano. Since 1983 the orchestra has grown considerably. Starting with only six musicians who gave three concerts the first year, the Plano Symphony is now a full orchestra giving 30 concerts and nearly 100 educational, chamber, and solo apperances a year.
