The Dallas Ballet Company (DBCo), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization in association with the Dallas Ballet Center, was created in 1989, under the direction of Brent and Judy Klopfenstein, and supported by a Patrons’ Guild, to inspire young dancers on a pre-professional level to perform and enjoy the creative art of dance. Dancers, beginning at the age of twelve, are encouraged to audition for DBCo for the following levels: Junior Company, Apprentice Trainee, Apprentice and Company.

Company members are selected annually in open auditions for pre-professional dancers (age 14+). There are also performing opportunities for Dallas Ballet Company Apprentices (age 13+), Apprentice Trainees (age 13+), and Junior company members (age 12+).
