The Brain Balance Program® brings hope to families of children who suffer with behavioral, academic, and social challenges. Our specialized achievement centers offer a drug-free, whole-child approach to address the underlying issues in many of the behavioral, developmental, and learning disorders that plague so many children today. For over a decade, the Brain Balance Program has helped thousands of kids struggling with ADHD, Learning Disorders, Dyslexia and many other neurobehavioral issues. They have become more focused and better behaved and have seen improvement in their academic performance, communication and social skills.

Organization Overview

Brain Balance is the leading drug-free program helping kids move beyond challenges to achieve greater success. This personalized program is designed to improve focus, behavior, social skills, anxiety and sensory processing. The program takes an integrative approach to strengthening the brain and its connections through sensory engagement and  physical development. Over the past decade, this comprehensive and effective program has helped thousands of individuals nationwide to improve the critical skills needed to create a brighter path for their future.

We work with children from the ages of 4 to 18 and young adults, who have a variety of struggles.  Many of our kids have labels of ADHD, Autism, OCD, ODD, Dyslexia, Apraxia and Sensory Processing Disorder. However, some of our clients do not have a label but struggle with emotional regulation, making and keeping friends, academics, focus and attention or behaviors.

Extensive scientific research demonstrates that when challenges are present they are often related to areas of immature connectivity in the brain.  Research also shows that the brain is malleable, allowing for brain connectivity change and development, creating an opportunity for improvement. Brain Balance has applied this research to develop a program that focuses on improving the foundation of development and strengthening the brain. Please take a look at the Research and Results packet I have included in this email.

The Brain Balance program integrates key elements necessary to drive development and brain connectivity. This includes sensory engagement, core muscle strength and coordination, eye tracking, auditory processing, cognitive exercises, and healthy lifestyle guidance. These program components, when combined, focus on strengthening weaker areas of the brain.  The balanced brain

allows for the development of skills and tools necessary to function at a higher level. Our personalized in-center sessions, at-home activities and healthy lifestyle program work together to bolster this development.

PROGRAM:  The Brain Balance program consists of one-hour sessions, three times per week.  The duration of the program depends on the results of the assessment and typically vary from 6-12+ months of in center sessions. The sessions engage the body and brain in a comprehensive and integrative approach targeting key aspects of development. Our systematic approach synchronizes the following components into each session, delivering an effective vehicle to stimulate multiple regions of the brain and body, including:

  • Sensory engagement
  • Core strength
  • Auditory and visual processing
  • Eye coordination and endurance
  • Physical coordination and timing
  • Cognitive Training
  • In addition to the in-center sessions there are at-home requirements to further facilitate these brain connections and developmental changes. Our team, and online parent resources (for children in the program), offer support and guidance to successfully execute the at-home requirements.  The Brain Balance team is dedicated to supporting each family and helping them succeed.
    • 12 months of program support following completion of in-center sessions to help solidify the foundation set during the in-center program
    • Home exercises to drive faster results for your child
    • Home environment recommendations to create a healthier life to support the positive changes
