Winter Break Coding Camps- UT Dallas

Morning session will run 9am to 12noon and afternoon session will run 1-4pm on each day. Students can be dropped as early as 8:30am and picked up as late as 5pm. Earlier drop-off or late pickups can be arranged with additional fee. See utdallas.edu/k12/directions for driving directions to ECSS building in UT Dallas campus.

Camp registration fee is $75 for half-day camps & $150 for full day camps. Registration fee will go up by $25 after advance registration closes on November 12.

(Discount codes for immediate families of current UTD faculty/staff/students: UTDFAMILY – UTD email address should be used for registration, immediate families of UTD alumni: UTDALUMNI – need to provide degree and graduation details during registration, low income families that get reduced rate meals at schools need to send the proof after registration to csk12@utdallas.edu to get discount code to use, School teachers can send the copy of school ID badge to csk12@utdallas.edu to get discount code for them to attend the camps – it is NOT for their families. Also, we do not offer any multi-camp or sibling discounts.)

We will provide everything for Level 0 camps and Littlebits camp – Windows laptop is required for all other camps. . Any typical laptop will do. You can buy a decent laptop for ~$200 now – HP Stream 11 laptop is a good example. Limited # of loaner laptops are available & they can be reserved in advance by paying $10 alongwith the registration. It will cost $20 to add laptop reservation to registrations later.

Cancellation policy: We understand that your schedule may change due to various reasons. So, we have very reasonable cancellation policy: $10 processing fee for each  cancellation. Prorated amount minus $10 fee will be refunded for cancellations received during the camp dates. Laptop reservation fee will be refunded ONLY if the whole registration is cancelled – it cannot be refunded separately.

Lunch & snacks will be provided to the campers, as long as they do not have any food allergies. UTD administration prohibits us from serving any lunch/snack items to the kids with any type of food allergies. Please inform your children so that they won’t be disappointed – send the snacks & lunch as well.

We recommend you to start the children at the appropriate level based on the grade level, then let them progress in their own pace & enjoy the learning experience! Please do not rush them through the levels.
