Hillside Village kicks off the holiday season on Saturday, Nov. 20 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. with its Village Lights festival, featuring the annual Magical Tree Lighting and Santa’s Arrival. KKDA-FM Lady Jane will kick off the festivities at 5:30 p.m. Throughout the evening, Mrs. Claus combines holiday magic, toys coming to life, and a picture of Santa Claus magically speaking to the children in the Alfie Show. Guests can enjoy hot cocoa, holiday crafts, face painting, balloon artists, and much more.
First time ever at Village Lights, 8 Ft. “real” snow slide! Complimentary snow slide will be available until 7:30 p.m. and will be on the east side of the center. At 7:30 p.m., Santa will arrive and flip the switch to illuminate the 100,000 lights on Hillside Village’s 30-foot, interactive tree. Located in the Village Green, the tree is programmed to play a holiday music every 20 minutes, synchronized with dancing lights.
