Celebrate National Brisket Day with smoke, flavor and community spirit at Dickey’s Barbecue Pit’s first-ever BBQ Fest on Thursday, May 28, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Original Dickey’s location near Knox Henderson in Dallas. As the iconic Texas barbecue brand marks 85 years of serving Legit. Texas. Barbecue.™, guests are invited to enjoy an afternoon packed with live music, family-friendly fun, free samples from Rancher’s Premium Smokehouse, raffle prizes and mouthwatering barbecue — all to raise funds for those who risk it for the brisket.
The event will feature a friendly barbecue eating showdown between the Dallas Fire-Rescue Department and the Dallas Police Department, plus opportunities to win exciting prizes including a 50-inch smart TV, free barbecue for a year, a premium backyard grill and tickets to The Dickey Foundation’s Denim & Diamonds Gala. Proceeds from the event benefit The Dickey Foundation, which supports first responders nationwide by providing critical safety equipment, rescue gear and protective resources.
