Terrell’s largest community-wide event, the Terrell Jubilee, takes place every April at Lion’s Club and Ben Gill Parks. This four-day celebration is packed with music, entertainment, arts & crafts, a business expo, carnival rides, a car show, the Fountain 5K Run, and many other activities for all ages.
The Jubilee began in 1981 as the Terrell Chamber of Commerce Livestock Show and Exposition, originally designed to promote interest in livestock among Terrell’s youth. By the following year, it had grown into a full-fledged spring festival and family-friendly event. Since then, the Terrell Jubilee has evolved into one of the area's premier community festivals.
The Jubilee truly has something for everyone. Kids can enjoy thrilling carnival rides, while music lovers can take in performances from some of the area’s finest talent. Shoppers and arts & crafts enthusiasts will find plenty to explore, and dog lovers can enjoy the Lions Club Dog Show. Car enthusiasts will love the For the Love of Cars Auto Show, and fitness buffs can challenge themselves in the Fountain 5K Run/Walk or play in a pickleball or 3-on-3 basketball tournament!
This exciting four-day festival draws thousands of visitors each year, with an estimated 17,000 attending in 2024.
Plan your visit to the Terrell Jubilee and enjoy all the fun this event has to offer!
