Storybook Trail: Tell me About Juneteenth

The Storybook Trail is located on a half mile paved trail located at the Stephen G. Terrell Community Park Trail at 1680 W. Exchange Parkway.

This is a self-led activity in which pages of a children's storybook are placed in kiosks along the Storybook Trail located outside the Stephen G. Terrell Recreation Center in partnership with The Allen Public Library. To participate in our Storybook Trail, begin at the first kiosk and continue to follow the numbered signs as you read along. We hope you enjoy this interactive book experience!
Stories are available for months at a time starting from the addition date:
- June 2, 2026 - "Tell Me About Juneteenth" by Kortney Nash
- June 30, 2026 - "Harold the Iceberg Melts Down" by Lisa Wyzlic
- October 2, 2026 - "Norman Didn't Do It!" by Ryan T. Higgins
