Salsa Class with Amanda Christina Salsa

Participants will learn the basic salsa step, variations of the basic step, turns, shines, and partner work. No experience needed! Just comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes.

Participants will learn the basic salsa step, variations of the basic step, turns, shines, and partner work. The class begins with a brief warm-up, followed by an overview of the basic steps and turns. Participants then practice basic steps and turns to music of different speeds, in order to practice recognizing and following the salsa beat. For the second half of the class, participants will learn a short choreography that can either be done individually or can be applied to partner work.
