Rocket to the Stars

Shoot for the stars with a celebration of brilliance and bravery! Kids will learn about Mae Jemison—engineer, doctor, and the first Black woman to travel to space—through a fun, kid-friendly introduction to her inspiring story. After exploring her achievements and big dreams, participants will blast off into creativity by designing and crafting paper rockets. A perfect mix of learning, imagination, and hands-on fun that lifts curiosity sky-high while honoring an incredible pioneer in history and space exploration!
