New Song's Got Talent is an all-inclusive talent show for Argyle and the surrounding DFW area. Our hope is to support and encourage local artists by giving them a platform to develop their talents, gain visibility, and create connection and collaboration throughout our community. We welcome any type of talent (e.g., singing, dancing, magic, comedy, instruments, visual arts, etc.). We are looking for creativity, expression, and overall entertainment qualities. After review, the top 20 finalists will perform their act at our live show hosted at New Song School of the Arts in Argyle, TX on March 22nd. Finalists will compete in front of a live audience and panel of judges for a chance to win a prize.
Submission Deadline: February 22nd. Live Show: March 22, 5:00 - 7:00pm (Call time TBD for performers) Show Location: NSSOTA (1624 FM 407, Argyle, TX 76226) Prizes Grand Prize: $1,500 2nd Place Prize: $1,000 3rd Place Prize : $500
- There is no cost to submit an entry video. Only 1 entry per person

Ticket purchase - $15.00 tickets will be required for entry to the live performance.

All submissions must be made virtually and submitted via Google Drive. Please click the "Add File" button below to upload your video.

Top 20 finalists will be selected for the live shows. You must be available to perform on March 22nd to be considered as a finalist.

Finalists will be selected based upon overall creativity, talent, and general entertainment qualities.

Judging Panel - a panel of hand-selected community professionals will judge the live event on March 22nd. Each judge will be given a rubric with which to score the performers.

Grand Prize will be awarded to the top-placed winner(s) at the live event.

Talent: This is an all-inclusive talent show. We welcome any type of talent (e.g., singing, dancing, magic, comedy, instruments, etc.). We are looking for creativity, expression, and overall entertainment qualities.
- Video Requirements:
- Video must be under 5 minutes in length.
- Your video should be of good quality (clear audio and visual).
- On the video, please state your full name, age, city, and state before performing.
- All video content must be family-friendly. No inappropriate content, themes, or profanity. We reserve the right to not accept your submission should we feel your video is inappropriate.
- No audio files will be accepted. Your submission must be video.
- You may not be selected for the live show if your video does not meet the above requirements.
- Age Requirements: New Song's Got Talent is open to all ages and skill levels. You do not have to attend New Song School of the Arts to submit an entry.
- Act Restrictions: Your act must fit on a stage size of 16 x 8. NSSOTA will provide a sound system, microphones, music stands, piano, and drum set (if needed). All other props and costumes must be brought by the performer. Please submit all inquiries for stage set-up and prop/instrument availability to madison@nssota.com.
