Lee Young, First Modern Black Texas Ranger

Retired Texas Ranger Lee Young will discuss his 29-year career as a Texas law enforcement officer and the history of the Absentee Seminole Tribe of Texas as a descendant of Seminoles who fled to Mexico in 1850 to protect their freedom. Young will pull upon his unique heritage, which includes the history, life, and accomplishments of the Seminole Indian Scouts and Texas Rangers. For adults and teens. This Library-sponsored program is held in the City Council Chamber at City Hall. Park and enter at City Hall, near the intersection of Plano and Greenville.
