Kamp Hollywood

Kamp Hollywood is a vibrant and innovative moviemaking camp that is designed with a hands-on, real-world approach to training in production and acting. Campers or "Indies" as they are called, will learn vital life skills such as teamwork, discipline and leadership while gaining a sense of confidence and accomplishment as they create their own short films. Industry veterans act as mentors through every step.

This is a week-long day camp, July 29-August 2, from 9am-5:30. There is a wrap/graduation party on Sunday, August 4 from 4pm-6pm.
Camper age range is 8-17.
Day 1-Participants start with gear training on professional equipment, intro to acting/screenwriting, and start brainstorming ideas. Production crews are formed.
Day 2-They then move to stunt training, acting and improv, pitch their ideas, work on script writing and scout locations.
Day 3-Includes auditions, casting, script reading and rehearsals.
Days 4&5-Shoot days.
Saturday is editing day.
Sunday includes a wrap party and graduation with screeming of all films and awards.
