Get ready for an exciting adventure this fall with our special STEM camps! Each camp features exciting robotics, 3D design, and programming projects, providing your kids with the perfect mix of learning and fun. The camp runs from 9 am to 3 pm. Students will be grouped by age groups.
Sep 7 – Labor Day Pokémon STEM Adventure Camp
Ages 4–9: Pokémon Coding & Robotics Adventure
Enter a Pokémon-inspired world of robotics, coding, animation, and 3D design! Students will build a Krabby robot, code a Pikachu-themed game, design their own 3D Pokémon character, and receive a custom 3D Pokémon card.
Ages 9–14: Pokémon Game Development & 3D Creation
Take Pokémon-inspired creativity to the next level through robotics design and automation, advanced coding challenges, and 3D modeling. Students will code their Pokémon-robot, create detailed Pokémon-inspired 3D characters, and develop their own custom digital Pokémon game.
Oct 12 – Columbus Day Battle Bot STEM Camp
Ages 4–9: Robot Games & Friendly Challenges
Build and code robots for exciting games, obstacle courses, and friendly competitions. Students will design protective attachments, complete robot missions, and test their creations while learning the basics of robotics, engineering, and teamwork.
Ages 9–14: Battle Bots—Build, Code & Compete
Design and program a custom VEX IQ battle bot for a series of fast-paced engineering challenges. Students will build defensive and offensive mechanisms, improve speed and control, code autonomous movements, and compete in freeze tag and team battles.
Nov 2 & 3 – Ball Machine Engineering Camp (HPISD /DISD Holiday)
Ages 4–9: Launchers, Mazes & Moving Machines
Explore how machines launch, roll, and move objects! Students will build, code and 3D design catapults, marble mazes, and beginner ball machines while learning about motion, force, gravity, and mechanical design through hands-on building, coding, and 3D modeling activities. Students may attend one or both days. Each day features different projects.
Ages 9–14: Mechanical Engineering & Ball Machine Design
Design, build, and test machines that launch and control moving objects. Students will experiment with advanced launch mechanisms and tennis ball machines with VEX IQ while applying mechanical engineering, coding, prototyping, and advanced 3D design skills.Students may attend one or both days. Each day features different projects.
