Costume Design | Kids Out and About Dallas

Costume Design

*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 06/05/2026
Costumes tell stories. They allow audiences to know a character before they’ve spoken a single word. Learn how colors, fabrics, and shapes can establish personality, social status, and setting. Explore topics of symbolism, class, geography, and culture in relation to fashion history, and analyze iconic costumes. Get hands-on experience working with many different costume pieces and materials to design in collaboration, just like in real costume shops.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
