Christmas Parade of Lights & Tree Lighting Ceremony

Every December, the Town of Flower Mound rings in the holidays with the annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony! The event’s festivities include lighted floats that parade down Spinks Road, live performances from local groups, pictures with Santa, a community tent, food trucks, kids’ activities, and a countdown to the lighting of more than 100,000 LED lights on our 50-foot-tall Christmas tree.

In 2024, the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 6 to 9 p.m. This year, the theme is "Characters of Christmas".
The Town of Flower Mound would like to invite your group to participate in the Christmas Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting Ceremony. Non-cash awards will be presented to the top entry and runner-up in each category. Although there is no entry fee for the parade, we are requesting that each member of a participating entry bring at least one canned food item to benefit the Christian Community Action Canned Food Drive.
