Butterfly Walk
Walk with the butterflies in the enchanted forests and fields of LLELA's Blackjack Trail with Master Naturalist, Laura Kimberly. LLELA is home to approximately 70 species of butterflies and many other colorful and remarkable insects. Mid-morning on a spring day is a good time to find many common butterflies flittering through the sunny spots and beatles crossing the trail. This special science nature walk will last about two hours.
We'll practice the skills of butterfly watching and learn more about the lives of those we see. Due to the scientific nature of this hike, ages 10 and up only. Meet at the Blackjack parking lot.
