America's Forgotten Founders
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 03/28/2026
History isn’t just about the most famous names. In this program, kids will discover forgotten founders—Black patriots, women soldiers, and other heroes who helped shape early America.
Each month, we’ll explore the story of a different historical figure from Forgotten Founders and learn how people from many backgrounds played important roles in our nation’s history. Through stories and activities, kids will see how the past connects to the present—and how learning history can help us build a better future.
Because history belongs to everyone, and every story matters.
