STARS SUMMER CAMP
Dates: Session 1: June 3 to 28 and Session 2: July 8 to Aug. 2
Times: Monday through Friday - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Description: STARS Camp provides summer camp activities to children with limited financial resources. Enjoy fun games, physical activities, arts and crafts, and team building experiences. Campers build self-esteem, develop social skills, and improve overall health.
Registration: Registration must be completed in person at Bradfield Recreation Center or Hollabaugh Recreation Center.
Registration is limited to the first 75 qualified children on a first come, first served basis. To qualify, bring the following to registration:
1) Proof of income with 2 check stubs, Tax Return, or Social Security Disability for each individual over the age of 18 living in the household.
2) Driver License
3) Proof of Residency with a current Garland Utility Bill
4) $75 per session per child due at registration

Description: Discover and participate in the great outdoors with local group adventures. Outdoor activities include repelling, archery, rock climbing, disc golf, and outdoor cooking. This is an amazing opportunity to develop new skills, find friends with common interests, and get active! Register for each week, as there will be a new field trip each week!

3D GAME DESIGN CAMP

AMAZING ELECTRICKS CAMP

Description: Enter the amazing world of electronics. Mad Science and Snap Circuits brings together hands-on projects that teach the basics of electronics, circuits, and design. Show off your new skills with take home projects and a Junior Electronics certificate at the end of camp. $25 supply fee due to instructor.

Description: Become a dimensional player! In-depth instruction designed to improve all aspects of your game. Learn the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, and shooting. Enhance basic ability, build valuable ball handling skills, gain vital teamwork skills, encourage confidence, and improve game discipline. FREE T-Shirt after camp is over with. Athletic wear only. DJ ACADEMY

DRONES AND AVIATION

Description: Soar the skies in this aviation adventure. Participate in missions to fly drones, create take home models of flying objects including a motorized helicopter, plane, parachute, UFO, and spaceship. Learn about FAA rules, drone flying safety, aerodynamics, self driven planes, and other inventions that will impact the future of aviation.

Description: Pass, set, spike! Learn basic skills through effective and organized instruction. Develop fundamental ball handling abilities including passing, serving, setting, blocking, spiking, and defense. Improve your game and have fun while gaining valuable sportsmanship and team play experience. Bring a volleyball and a bottle of water.
Recommended volleyball: Baden or Tachikara. Athletes 11 and under should get a "volleylite" ball.
