Something special happens when you’re able to form a relationship and level of comfort with a horse. At our horseback riding camps, we see children get out of their comfort zones and while they are learning about horses and how to ride, they are learning something about themselves too. They learn to conquer their fears, they learn how practice, persistence, and determination can achieve goals. They discover not only that they are comfortable on horseback, but they are becoming accomplished equestrians with skills of how to control and direct the movement of the horse.

Campers get a head start on simple robotics using LEGO® WeDo™ components and easy to use software. Our young creators will build models, attach sensors, and motors that are plugged into a computer, and configure behaviors using a simple programming tool. Counselors guide campers through their first 12 robot models, which include a variety of animals, amazing mechanisms, and adventure stories.

Writing Camp 6–7: Mythology and Advanced Composition

Deploying real-life methods, students are tasked to reconstruct a mythic narrative based on material and literary archaeological evidence. In order to do this, students study myths from around the world and investigate aspects of these myths preserved in ancient art and texts.

CAMP OLYMPIA is a private, overnight Texas summer camp for boys and girls ages 6-16 offering one-week, two-week, and three-week camp sessions. Summer camp at Olympia is an experience like no other.
