Winter Tech Camp Preview
Two Weeks of Robotics and Coding This Winter Break
Campers spend their days building robots, wiring circuits and writing computer code to make real-life missions a success. We'll use batteries, resistors and micro-chips as well as coding tools like ASEBA, Python and C++. Tech Camp is where serious fun meets serious learning for DFW's smartest kids.
Each week brings exciting challenges. Our Young Engineers camp (K-2nd) will navigate through mazes and turn Thymio robots into crazy creatures. In Mission to Mars (3rd-5th) kids will build self-navigating vehicles complete with sensor banks or remote-controlled rescue 'bots during our VEX Search and Rescue Challenge. Our oldest campers (6-9th) will have a unique experience during First Responders' camp as they build a remote-controlled vehicle that sends live video and uses IR temperature sensors to guide fire-fighters towards safety. First Responders' camp is offered for one week only. Don't miss out.
New Location in Frisco. Kids can learn how batteries, breadboards and resistors work in Electronics Lab (K-2nd) or get a week-long course in Coding with Python (3rd-5th) at our Frisco location, in addition to Thymio (K-2) and VEX Robotics (3-5th).
Three great locations offer DFW families options in Preston Hollow, W. Plano and Central Frisco (Preston/Stonebrook). Family-friendly hours include early drop-off or extended-day to give flexibility during the holidays.
