Free and open to the public, the build-off takes place in front of the attraction just inside Grapevine Mills Mall.

Kids ages 5 to 15 can enter to show off their creative building skills for a chance to win a one-day apprenticeship with the LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Master Model Builder.
Mini Division- 5-9 year olds
- 8:30am: Mini Group 1 check-in
- 9:00am – 9:30am: Mini Group 1, Round 1 Build
- 9:15am: Mini Group 2 check-in
- 9:45am-10:15am: Mini Group 2, Round 1 Build
- 10:00am: Mini Group 3 check-in
- 10:30am-11:00am: Mini Group 3, Round 1 Build
- 11:20am: Top 25 Finalists Announced
- 11:30am—12:00pm: Round 2, Top 25 Final Build
- 12:30pm: Announcement of Top 3. 1ST Gets apprenticeship with our Master Model Builder
Junior Division 10-15 year olds
- 1:00 pm: Junior Group check-in
- 1:30 pm: Junior Group Round 1 Build
- 2:30 pm: Top 12 Finalists Announced
- 2:45 pm: Round 2 Top 12 Final Build Begins
- 3:45 pm: Announcement of Top 3! 1st Gets apprenticeship with our Master Model Builder
